PTE Explained

PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is an academic computer-based English language test administered to international students.

PTE Academic accurately measures the listening, reading, speaking and writing skills of test takers, whose native language is not English and who have to prove their academic English proficiency. It tests participants' language skills for universities, higher education institutions, government departments, and institutions requiring academic English. The test is:

• Fast - results are typically available within 5 business days.

• Practical - the exam is completed in a single 3 hour sitting
